The online marketplace for fashion has so many unique ecommerce stores utilizing a variety of techniques to try and set themselves apart from the competition. There are members only shopping sites like Rue La La, discount designer sites like Blue Fly, and style shopping search engines like Glimpse. Online merchants in this space looking to become the next big thing, need to innovate and can no longer just bid the highest price on a pay per click ad and rush people to check out of their shopping cart.

MyShape.com is that next online fashion site looking to win women over and turn them into loyal customers with the launch of The Personal Shop. This amazing tool provides women with a size-less online shopping experience where they no longer have to worry about sizes varying from different designers. All a woman has to do is enter some key measurements by following an easy animated guide, and then the tool automatically predicts the rest of her body measurements. After adding other preferences about her personal style the tool can then create her Personal Shop which only displays clothes that fit her shape and style. Now the shop experience is fully customized and the only thing left to do is start putting items in your shopping cart.

Creating a stand out shopping tool and personalized shop like this is not an easy task, but luckily MyShape.com has a lot financial investors backing their efforts. In fact, MyShape raised $12 million in funding last year and at least an additional $10.5 million in new funding, according to an SEC filing. Traffic to the site has steadily increased over the last year and MyShape should see that continue as women flock to the site to see what this personalized shopping site is all about.
