Celebrity news site, TMZ (Thirty Mile Zone), was one of the first to break the story this morning that famous actor Corey Haim was found dead. The Los Angeles Police Department reported that the 38 year old died of an apparent suicide, but it is still unclear if this was accidental or intended. Only hours after the death of Corey Haim, Ebay is already becoming flooded with memorabilia of the famous actor. Corey Haim had a huge fanatical following in the 19080′s after acting in the movie Lucas, and his most popular movie ever, The Lost Boys. He was also known for starring with his good friend Corey Feldman in the Lost Boys, but Haim also recently worked with Feldman in a failed reality TV show called The Two Coreys. Haim had been battling drugs for years, as do many other child actors who became famous at a young age, and found easy access to various substances.

Corey Haim’s drug habit was so bad, that in 1997 he had to declare bankruptcy and then things got even crazier in 2001 when he put one of his wisdom teeth and a lock of hair up on Ebay. However Ebay has rules against selling this sort of thing so he had to go to another celebrity site, Startifacts.com. Haim said in a 2004 interview that he had been taking a lot of valiums, in addition to other pills. This death is unfortunate as Haim was clearly a good actor, who chose a bad path that he could never get off. Now after his death, Ebay is buzzing again about Corey Haim as autographed pictures, original paintings, and various memorabilia associated with movies keep popping up for auction. As the news spreads, more items will be added to the 200+ that are already listed on eBay.
