I've used OSCommerce in the past. It can be difficult to setup and get running, I have also had it break several times for no reason.

Was running with Os Commerce for a couple years, but decided to switch to Magneto last year and the migration was really easy. Os Commerce was a good free solution, but I have a web development background so wanted something more powerful for my online store.

If you are new to OSCommerce, you are going to spend many, many hours searching for where stuff is. For example, trying to change the line spacing in a infobox, or how to adjust the position of some image on the front page, or even finding where in the file structure the front page is. It's just a hassle.
