Every year, ZippyCart works with a panel of ecommerce experts to test, review, compare and ultimately rate hundreds of ecommerce solutions. These solutions are then scored based on 10 weighted factors. The solutions that score more than a 3.50 out of 5.00, are featured on ZippyCart and the top 10 are listed in our yearly top 10 ecommerce solutions list. This top 10 list does not change throughout the year and is not easy to get into. Ecommerce solutions are ranked on merit alone, and in 2011, many solutions were neck and neck.

In 2011, the ZippyCart team has also created the Zippys, which are awards given to ecommerce software companies that excell in their field. Of the 6 awards, 5 ecommerce solutions stood out and earned recognition in more than one category.
