3dcart Customer Reviews: Overview

3dcart customer reviews3dcart's ease of use is something that tops the charts of the ZippyScale and seems to be a large pro with customers as well. With a ZippyScore of 4.5, 3dcart is one of our highest rated ecommerce solutions available. As the 3dcart customer reviews show below, while our ratings are one thing, it's also important to view the opinions of 3dcart's customers. Earning itself a customer score of 4.18 on a 5 point scale, 3dcart's greatest flaw seems to be in the fact that it takes some time to implement. Though this is not the fastest shopping cart solution to setup, 3dcart makes up for this with an amazing set of customer marketing features, a fully customizable look and feel, 24/7/365 U.S. based phone support, and an extremely robust online shopping experience that rivals major brands. The CS here is incredible and you should enjoy the features too. Been here a year. You shouldn't need as much code here. Sans the rounded corners 90% of our changes were just style sheet. Many, many more things can be done here with a click and a smile plus you can code too without hidden stuff. I sometimes miss having to research and code everything. LOL

Took me a couple of weeks to realize that so started over and had a site in a week after. Not fancy but functional. My advise is to scour admin first before coding. Good luck, Mondo

3DCart Version 3.2 is an ecommerce software solution that offers all the basic tools and customization options you would expect when using a hosted ecommerce provider. One thing we liked about 3DCart is that it offers a few extra features, like marketing and social commerce tools that are not industry-standard features found in most hosted ecommerce software platforms.

Overall, 3DCart is a worthy competitor to the likes of BigCommerce and Volusion. While 3DCart doesn't offer the greatest number of payment or shipping options, or the most design templates, they do a lot of things very well. 3DCart is especially worth considering if you plan on receiving a lot of direct credit card payments, thanks to its support for McAfee Secure.

Been with 3dcart for about 2 years, and overall I really like the company and the ecommerce software, but sometimes their customer service is a bit poor.

I recently opened up my first online store with 3dcart and am really pleased with everything so far. Their social commerce and mobile commerce features were a big deal to me, as most of the other ecom software I looked at didn't have those features.

Just got version 3.2 and i must say WOW,huge change since what i had used back when version 2.0 was out. 3dCart is away above the competition when it comes to fetures. I must say, a long time ago i posted a critical review regarding support, and that has changed in the past 6 months or so. Keep up the good work 3dcart!

Moved from Volusion 8 months ago and i am glad i made this decision. Support staff is excelent, and the software just keeps getting better. If you are shopping for a solution all i can say is give 3dcart a try, there is a free trial, i used it to get to know the software, and even during the trial support was very responsive. I am now paying $19.99/month vs. $99 i was paying with Volusion, yet have pretty much the same functionality and more.

3dcart provides and exceptionally flexible, powerful, and easy to use ecommerce solution. We have enjoyed our partnership with 3dcart over the years. All at 3dcart show as much interest in our business success as they do their own! Certainly not a new concept for success, but one that is increasingly rare in today's business environment.

There are some nice things in there. So far I have implemented and really enjoy Smart Categories.

So basically I created a "New Items" and an "On Sale" category. I have to do NOTHING to maintain these. New Items simply contains my 50 newest items. I add something new, it goes in there and kicks out the oldest. On Sale contains any item I have marked as on sale. You take it off sale, it's removed from the category automatically.

Very nice.

A bit disappointed that the mobile admin won't allow me to edit stock levels of products, but perhaps something like that will be implemented soon. (crossing fingers.) Eager to keep looking through the features.

I got to say 3Dcart.com is best shopping cart around for the price! Before I found 3D I was using Ebay's Prostores, which I got to say it sucks in comparison. If you're starting out I would highly recommend this cart!

We use 3dcart. The service and pricing are great, however, if features are missing, you sort of hit a wall. For multiple stores, you will need to run each independently. For this reason, we are planning to use Magento Commerce for future stores.

I am in the process of swtiching to 3dCart, their admin panel is much friendlier and has so much more information, they are truly integrated with both Fedex and UPS to just click and ship, and although they dont advertise a large bandwidth program they tailor made a solution for me at a very good price that at Volusion would have cost me over $4000 more a month

Add me to the long list of people that had a bad experience at 3DCart–terrible customer service/tech support. Their tech support’s primary procedure is to take 23 days to respond to a ticket and then respond with a question to your question (where the info they are asking is already included). Then, you get to wait another 2-3 days for another question from them. In one month, I had sent them 5-6 tickets and none of them got resolved. Switched to CoreCommerce. Too early to say what I think of them so far.

I Think 3DCart is Good As It offers a robust set of tools, including pretty much every feature we looked for in ecommerce software solutions. 3DCart is available in a variety of packages, ranging from as low as $19.99 (Mini) to $99.99 (Standard Plus) per month. There is a plan for any size store, regardless of how many products you wish to sell or how much storage you need. For this review we looked at the mid-range basic package, which accommodates an online store selling up to 5,000 products. The package comes with 300MB of storage space, unlimited email accounts, 25 store templates, and can accommodate up to 3GB of bandwidth a month.

We just opened our third store with 3DCart. Very easy to convert from an existing cart and pretty easy to do from the ground up too. Our customers are telling us it is faster loading and easier to navigate than our previous cart. 3DCart's support and assistance is awesome.

Of all the HOSTED shopping carts out there, 3D cart seems to be the best option. I know that there are many pros and cons to using a hosted solution, but in the end it's what was best for me. I dig the features that this cart provides over other hosted carts, the templates are good, the price is pretty fair, and the customer service is about what you would expect from a hosted store (complicated questions take at least a week to address). In the end, it suits my needs and doesn't ever falter.

Great features! Gift Registry, Taxes by Zip, Reward Points, Wish List, Multiple Shipping Options, the list just goes on and on. I'm thrilled with 3D Cart!

When it comes to customer service, 3D Cart taught me fast that you catch more flies with honey or however it goes. I was dealing with a bug one day and just couldn't figure it out. I called their tech support and waited on hold for an hour! I then yelled at their tech guy and threatened to leave, and he didn't do anything to try and talk me down off the ledge. He instead just kept trying to work through the problem with me, but what I needed was to feel like a valued customer. I was infuriated. The same day, my boyfriend called and was extremely respectful and patient. They bent over backwards to help him and showed him how the entire problem was actually a mistake on our end. Regardless, they offered some tips to help boost sales and apologized for how I was treated earlier after my boyfriend told them about it. I guess the lesson here is that their customer service team is not focused on the performance of "you" per se, they are instead focused on the performance of their cart. If you purchase knowing that this is the case, you'll be happier in the end because they do truly care about the product.

3D Cart, like any web based company, takes some patience. I've been with them for 4 years now and witnessed them grow in both features available and customer support. I think that they once weren't as concerned with customer support as they were with making a good tool. Now, they seem to be focused evenly on both. When it comes to SEO, 3D cart kicks the crud out of the competition, and they are there with customer support now too.

From "Really? Phone Support?"

The support isn't too bad, but it's email based. If you want to talk to a person, I suggest something else. I have read reviews like above where people say they've talked to someone, but I have yet to figure out how. If anyone knows, 3D cart obviously doesn't want to share that info, so could you tell me?

This is not the fastest solution available, seeing as it took me a month to launch my site, but my lack of programming knowledge probably played a part. In the end, I'm proud of how my shopping cart site looks but worry that customers may have a problem navigating through it.

If you are really picky about how your products are sold, then never use a hosted solution because there's only so much you can do to customize the performance and appearance of your cart. I was told this multiple times but I used 3D cart's hosted shopping cart anyway. While it's a good cart, with a ton of features, I need to eventually move to a non-hosted solution so that I can delve deaper into the look and feel. Until then, 3D cart is getting me sales and works as a temporary solution.
