A great starter shopping cart, but not the Porche of shopping carts.

What's great about this shopping cart is the brand name. Nothing makes your online store trustworthy like the Amazon logo. The problem with the store is that it lacks quite a lot of features that most shopping carts have. I can't even customize shipping info, for example. If you are just starting out, then use this cart to build your own brand awareness and trust. Then, after you have the customers, move to something better

Much more cost effective than ebay. I was able to create my store the same day I signed up, have no limit to the number of products I sell, and a good look and feel.

A trusted brand with SEO in mind, Webstore is a winner for me! Unlike other shopping carts, the URL's of my webstore are indexed in search engines, which means I have a better chance of getting customers. I get all the features of a basic Amazon page, and they practically wrote the book on online stores (and probably sold it too). I'm very confident that Webstore and I will be in business for many years to come!

I can customize shipping options, I'm not sure why someone else said that you can't. You can even choose to use DropShipping which is very helpful.

Multiple stores for one low rate, a simple FVF to avoid merchant processing fees, and a known brand. I'm sold

If you don't have a UPC, ISBN, ASIN, or EAN you can't do a bulk uploadÉ you have to create each listing manually :-(

I can't set shipping based on location or automatically calculate sales tax. These are two big downfalls in my opinion. Pros: easy user interface, low fees, simple updates, fast indexing in search engines.

Amazon takes a commission of every sale (FVF) which is typically 7%. I've found that my merchant fees would cost more, so I'm content with this fee. Beyond that, you can use Amazon to handle your shipping (FBA - fullfillment by Amazon) and then you don't have to worry about shipping costs or tax calculation. It's a reasonable store for a reasonable price.

The UPC problem isn't hard to work around. Just use "PrivateLabel" and you can bulk upload products without a UPC or anything like that.
