CoreCommerce is a great starter ecommerce shop. It has a nice store setup wizard, simple templates, and includes hosting. My only main issue with CoreCommerce is the fact that they don't have an abundance of templates to choose from. This stinks because I don't love the color pallet of the templates provided.

Here are my likes: No monthly transaction fees, multiple package levels, one page checkout, easy to customize, fully packed with SEO and marketing features like Facebook integration, search engine friendly code, and that stuff.
Here are my dislikes: Can't host it myself, can't integrate a blog (to my knowledge), I guess that's about it.
All in all, this ecommerce software has a high rating for a reason.

Truly amazing customer service, a great product, and I'm selling more with this ecommerce platform than I did using my previous open source software!!! It's worth the monthly fee because I sell enough to more than cover my costs!

I use CoreCommerce and it is great. Got rid of the bandwidth fees of volusion and moved to a system that has the features and support. I just wish I found them years ago ;-)

I have used Miva, Yahoo Store, and Volusion in the past (having set-up multiple websites). I just decided to try the CoreCommerce software yesterday, and was able to put up a full-featured site in 48 hours. I am really impressed with the ease of use offered by CoreCommerce, love the pricing, and am hoping it will do well in terms of SEO too. Also, they have a lot of great features that you have to pay extra for when you use other software or buy modules (as in Miva).

We have used CoreCommerce since around April. We left another Web Cart provider and have had a Terrific experience. Our web sales have grown at a phenomenal rate since joining CC. We are most impressed with the support we recieve from CC. They are readily available, knowledgeable and patient with all our questions. A very important point is the fact that they are continually trying to innovate. They are not standing still. This is important to us. There pricing is reasonable and comes with the great support. There interface is user friendly. We highly reccomend CC!

In a nutshell, our story is that after struggling with Yahoo Stores and then Magento, we found CoreCommerce - which allowed us to readily create a "real" online store. And we've gotten good free traffic, and sales, as a result
