This is a great online store builder and ecommerce shopping cart solution. It is easy and fast because the software installs in your own pc. You don't need to connect to Internet to build your online store. I recommend it to everyone!

we've been using it for a couple of years now. database is easy to load information into but their customer service guys all sound like they are from south america so that makes for misunderstandings and frustrations. also, having an outside company do design work is a little tricky because they are not able to work around their strict infrastructure. if you want a quick and easy up and running store then fortune3 is for you. want something more detailed i'd look at volusion.com which is what we're doing right now.

When I first started reading about fortune3 it sounded like a cool solution, but then when I found out it was PC only I got a bit dissapointed. I still did a free trial, and just could not move forward with it as I need something that works on macs and pc's.

It is like they built this ecommerce software just for us PC guys. Overall been quite happy, but wish I didn't have to pay transaction fees, but in general the % I pay is pretty low.

I've been using this shopping cart for 3 years with excellent results. Fortune3 provides most features needed to build and manage a professional ecommerce website. It is easy to use and fast because the online store creator runs in your pc and then you upload the information at once to the servers. There is not wait time due to Internet response to your data entry. It provides many templates and options to customize your online shopping cart to your needs. Fortune3 is a search engine friendly shopping cart software bacause you can find my web pages near the top of Google search results.

I've been wanting this solution for awhile and jumped on it when I saw they have finally included monthly hosted version of their e-commerce webstore, so maybe I can finally afford it. Still some cons though: Only 30 products for their cheapest package plus transaction fees?! There are other solutions out there that cost less and provide more... but Fortune3 has the live chat, which others dont.

I have been using the fortune3 cart for almost 5 moths. It is easy to setup, flexible and powerful. Product support is excellent.
I have tried other free programs and open source and also more expensive software and fortune3 is the best webshop builder solution that I have tried. I make changes to the shopping cart like a breeze and upload fast. The multiple functions of the software are tremendous. There are so many features that I don't know them all yet.
When comparing fortune3 with other open source shopping carts like oscommerce and zencart I found that they are a hassle, while fortune3 is always up and running it simplifies my life. I rather pay to have a good sleep every single night.

Pros: nothing. There is nothing I like, No pro, absolutly nothing!
Cons: The Software's layout is not stylish, the functions only support main fright company, it can be only used for the US and Canada, but it's still much to expensive. No export to google shopping, no interface to erp-systems, no reporting.. nothing...
Summary: delete everything before installation and safe lots of time to find a better solution!
why thy take money for this software?
The shop cannot be translated easiely into different languages, the help-text is poor other software creat a ready to go shop inner 10 minutes, in fortune3 I had no runing shop after a day. Better deinstall!

Complete and simple is what i' d say about this shopping cart - this is one of the few windows based online store builders that uses the pc resources - because it is a pc based program -not a web based shopping cart builder- you can use its graphic interface to move-arrange products and categories using drag-and-drop on what they call the product tree - so i believe this software was build in visual studio using access databases. Modifying and editing the online store results easy. Accepts a large website storefront - mine has 11,000 products: My data was imported from spreadsheet (using excel) - their stock templates (about 200) look good - many types. Appearance and performance compares to large corporations.
