Purchased the ecommerce software about a year ago and overall I have been happy, but wish they would do more frequent upgrades to the software.

I was having trouble deciding between Bigcommerce and Interspire, but since I have some HTML and CSS skills I decided to go with Interspire as I just had to pay for the software one time. I have had a few hiccups since opening my online store, and will have to see if more hiccups come in 2011. I would hate to switch, but might have to if I encounter too many problems.

If you know what you're doing when it comes to ecommerce, then Interspire is an awesome choice for the price. I have been using it for almost a year, and been quite pleased with the results of my online store so far.

I've been an avid Interspire user for quite some time so when they came out with their shopping cart, I naturally jumped on it. Like other Interspire products, it keeps both the merchant and the customer in mind. There are great marketing tools and an easy to use administration section.

The drag and drop design mode made customizing my site SOOOO easy! I saved a great deal of money building my store myself and didn't have to worry about communicating my design needs because I was in the drivers seat

My only issue with this shopping cart is the fact that customer support actually costs extra! When you buy the package, you get a few months free, but after that you have to pay anytime you want to chat. They say that you won't need customer support after a few months, and so far they're correct, but I'm only 7 months into this, so we shall see.

I wasted a year of my life using a cheap shopping cart that I thought would do the trick. The problem was that the cheap ones are hard to use, filled with unneccessary bells and whistles, and they bomb ALL THE TIME. As someone running a serious online store, I chose a joke of a shopping cart. Now I'm with Interspire and all my troubles are behind me. The cart is easy to use and made with one goal in mind: to sell, sell, sell! I want to kiss whoever invented it!

If you want to spend money, then get this cart. My issue with this cart is that it keeps costing me money. If I had more customers, I wouldn't care, but I don't. It's like flying these days: hidden fees everywhere you go. I have to pay for customer support, for upgrades to new versions (50% fee), and am constantly getting bug fixes. Not something I'm happy with at all.

What makes Interspire unique is the fact that there are different packages available based on your needs. So, if you only want 10 features, then you can get the cheapest shopping cart package. If you want 30 more features down the line then you have to pay for them. Some would consider this an "upgrade" when really you're buying a whole new package. I think that the costs are as they should be considering the features. If you don't want to pay a lot, then consider a cart that will work half as well.
