The Miva Merchant software is pretty good. It has a nice set of features including a cool meter number from fed ex that helps ensure shipping is correct. It has easy affiliate integration and tracking. My biggest problem with it is that I didn't read the fine print... honestly, I rarely read the fine print. To integrate this thing with Quickbooks, I had to pay an additional $399. That was no good.

Customer service gets a thumbs down, while features get a thumbs up. This software is good for the price, but you get what you pay for. The feature set is really nice, but learning how to use it was extremely hard. I already paid for the product, so I was not about to pay the yearly fee of customer support, and the "free" support stinks. If you are going to get this cart, I suggest paying for the customer support or talking to someone who has already used it.

Once I set up my online store with Miva Merchant, I was selling immediately! The software is easy to use with a nice setup wizard. I had to switch to hosting that was already integrated with Miva, but this was a good switch in the long run since it saved me money and bandwidth is better. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase!!

This is a great shopping cart, but not totally an ecommerce suite. They offer hosting partners to work with, can process credit cards and such, but ultimately Miva Merchant's main focus is on being a well-rounded shopping cart. Honestly, as a merchant, I prefer something that can just focus on one thing and do that well. Most ecommerce software suites tend to do everything only OK, but Miva really makes an amazing shopping cart. This attention to detail has helped me boost sales and remain confident in this crummy economy.
