I've been with PC for a number of years. I've also been able to use a feature called custom URLs that let me define exactly how I want my URLs to read for product and catalogue pages – not sure if author just isn't aware of that current feature. PCI/PA-DSS compliance is also huge for me. Pinnacle Cart is one of the few carts out there that have achieved compliance, which makes me feel a lot better. I don't need any more costs (fines) associated with doing business with the credit card companies.

We gave it a spin and dived deep into it to see what we would find. What we found was an amazing piece of software with a whole list of features. In the end we found an incredible solution and feel good about offering it to our clients as well.

I have helped clients get online stores up and running with the hosted and licensed versions of Pinnacle Cart. I honestly like almost everything about Pinnacle Cart, and some of the features which they didn't have for a bit, just recently got added in a 2010 update.

Ultimately, the software is great IF you want to use one of their on the fly templates. When it comes to customization, although they say "fully customizable" you have to have a basic understanding of code to really delve in and make changes. If you don't know code and want the shopping cart site to match your website, then I would suggest either an easier shopping cart solution or hiring a developer because a novice just won't get it with Pinnacle Cart.

My knowledge of code isn't amazing, but the customer support provided by Pinnacle Cart managed to walk me through everything and clear up any questions I had. I was able to make the cart match my website seemlessly, and found the Pinnacle team to be very friendly and supportive.

If you're looking to setup your store quick, then this is the cart for you. If you're looking for something that you can take ownership of and really tweak, then I suggest going another route. This is customizable, but only to a point and the customer service is flightly at best. I find that I can get a hold of these people 80% of the time. If you're like me, you have a day job and are trying to make it on your own with your online business at night. I NEED 24/7 support and feel like this was a great starter cart, but am going to upgrade to something that fits my business lifestyle better.

I don't have a background in programming, but my background is instead in Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Ultimately, this cart was the best of the best when it comes to search engine friendliness. I was able to optimize every page, create static pages, customize the look and feel, all without an ounce of code knowledge. And my store shows up in search engines without a hitch!!

I had some issues with customer service only to find that my web designer had setup a pirated copy of Pinnacle Cart for me instead of a legitimate copy. He kept the money and Pinnacle had no record of me as a customer. Once I found out what happened, I managed to clear up the issue, fire my web developer, and got AMAZING support from Pinnacle. They helped me install the legally licensed copy and all was good. Still, it bothers me that I had to go through all of that. I think more recent releases of this shopping cart are harder to pirate.

I have spent months researching a good shopping cart solution. Pinnacle Cart is by far the best of the best. It is worth every penny considering that once I utilized some of its sales features I upped my revenue by 36%! So I quickly made the purchase cost back. If selling is your primary goal, then get the best possible tool to sell your products with. The Pinnacle Shopping Cart is nothing short of amazing.
